Update Sep 10th 2013
Following method only applies to GA-Z77-DS3H version 1.0 mainboard. GA-Z77-DS3H version 1.1 uses Qualcom Atheros 8161 NIC chip. maolj’s AtherosLC1Ethernet cannot be installed on GA-Z77-DS3H version 1.1. Simplest solution buy TP-Link TG-3468. It works out of the box. I have configured guest OS using bridging networking successfully in VMwareFusion 5.x and 6.0.  Environment:
– Hackintosh Mountain Lion 10.8.4 on GA-Z77-DS3H version 1.0.

Problem:
When upgrading from 10.8.2 to 10.8.4, I ran MultiBeast 5.4.1 with network driver is Shailua’s ALXEthernet v1.0.2. This driver causes bridge networking option in VMware Fusion 5.x stop working. From guest OS inside VMWare Fusion, I cannot ping outside. From outside, I cannot ping to guest OS hosted in VMWare Fusion. Notes, if you want to set fixed IP for guest OS in VMWare Fusion, you must use bridge networking not NAT option

Solutions:
A- When upgrading and running MultiBeast: When running MultiBeast 5.x, do not check option Shailua’s ALXEthernet v1.0.2. Rather you should use MultiBeast 5.0.2 and check option Network > maolj’s AtherosLC1Ethernet.

B- If you already installed Shailua’s ALXEthernet v1.0.2 and bridge networking stops working. You need to downgrade from Shailua’s driver to maols’s driver. Steps as following:

1- From menu , About This Mac > More Info > System Report > Ethernet Cards. Check if ALXEthernet.kext version 1.0.2 installed.

2- If ALXEthernet.kext version 1.0.2, then remove it by opening Terminal, type in
sudo rm -rf /pathto/ALXEthernet.kext
Replace pathto by the path you see in step 1.

3- Run MultiBeast 5.0.2 and check option Network > maolj’s AtherosLC1Ethernet. Restart MacOSX, you should new driver looks like this. This is good one.

It took me several days to found out this problem. Now all my virtual machines hosted in VMWare Fusion 5.x back to work.
